I have heard some great things about the learners in the Manaiakalani cluster so I thought I would jump on and check out some blog posts.

Wow! I can see you have been working hard to complete your Summer Learning Journey activities to a high standard, well done! I really like how you have displayed your compare and contrast for Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart, what programme or app did you use to create it? Jean Batten and Amelia Earhat were very brave woman to fly airplanes 100 years ago when the planes were very different! Do you think you would be brave enough to fly a plane from England to New Zealand? Did you know that there is a school in Mangere called Jean Batten School? How cool would it be to at a school named after a very well known New Zealander. I think that it is quite cool that they are close to the airport.

I really like how you have made your poem rhythm. . I can imagine that it would be very scary to land on the moon but I would be very excited to go and explore as soon as I could! Do you think that you would like to visit space at all? One of my friends actually builds rockets, as his job! They are rockets to help send satellites up into space but maybe they will start building rockets to carry people into space soon.

As it is the holiday period many of the Summer Learning Journey team are currently away from work and are spending some time with their friends and family. This means that you would get many encouraging comments over this time. We want you to keep blogging and we will comment on as many of your posts as we can when everyone is back at work!

Keep the blogging up!

Blog ya later,

Dani
Dani Summer Learning Journey Blog Commenterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08752482229349315429noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3662270156299581291.post-26698275725656755252019-12-27T09:58:57.563+13:002019-12-27T09:58:57.563+13:00Hi Zaria, this is Mrs Collins from Manaiakalani an...Hi Zaria, this is Mrs Collins from Manaiakalani and I'll be commenting on blogs over term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. I really like the venn diagram you have created about two awesome aviators - do you want to be a pilot when you leave school, or maybe a flight engineer? Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!

Heather Collinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04561400463860858083noreply@blogger.com
