Italy Research

Great White Sharks Research Blogging
Today for our Holiday Blogging Challenge we had to learn about an amazing creature called the Great White Shark. It was lots of fun learning about a new creature and this new topic. I had lots of fun learning about sharks, because there is a lot of species so you don't have to just stick with one species. You can research about different types of sharks. I'm looking forward to doing more research next week.

Girl's Day Out
Today we decided to go shopping with my mum because it is the school holiday, so we got ready and then we got in the car. We went and got 5 or 4 sizable red, white and pink coloured flowers. They look really pretty but they weren't real sadly.
We then saw Kmart and we decided to go shopping there. We looked for some clothes but there was nothing good. Then we also looked for some more flowers but I thought that the ones we brought earlier were much better so we left Kmart.
We started getting hungry so we went to my mum's favourite coffee shop. I'm not sure what it's called but they had the best things there, especially their coffee. We looked around for something to eat and ordered a few minutes later.
My mum went to the counter and said “I would like a passionfruit and lemon muffins and one chocolate brownie”. My mum said “we would also like one red velvet cake and one chocolate mud cake”. After that the waitress said is that all and my mum said “yes thank you”.
My mum pad and we went and found a table close by. Because when the food came we could eat. We were starving, especially me. I get hungry really fast. My sister's Zaeeda and A were also very hungry but not as much as me.
It smells delicious, my mouth was watering and it looked like it had lots of flavours. Then one of the waitresses brought our food, and we were so happy because we were starving. I couldn’t wait to eat, I was so hungry and just looking at it made my stomach was starving.
This made me slightly regret the fact that I wanted to stay home. It was very cold outside so I kind of wanted to stay inside the house. But it was warm in the mall and at least it was much warmer than outside, but it also felt like it had a heater.

Delicous Dinners
Today we decided to eat at home because it was the school holidays and everybody wanted to watch TV. My mum made an enormous pot of palau, it was delicious. I have never met anyone that doesn't like palau.
It smelt delicious, my mouth was watering. And it looked like it had lots of flavours and I mean a lot of juicy flavours. There was a delightful and mouth watering aroma filling the room. Every place in the house smelt nice. When my mum finished she called us for dinner she rang a little red bell to catch our attention.
I couldn’t wait to eat, I was so hungry and just looking at it made my stomach starve. We sat down and dug into the big plate of Palau in front of me. Just as I thought it was heaven. It tasted warm and the flavours bounced on my tongue. With the coldness we’ve been having lately a homemade meal like this was delicious.

Delicious Dinner
Today we decided to eat out because it is the school holiday, so we got ready and then we got in the car. We went to Nandos and got 2 sizable chickens, one hot and one BBQ. It smelt delicious, my mouth was watering and it looked like it had lots of flavours and Sauce on top. When the waitress brought our food, the whole restaurant smelled like the delicious chicken. 
I couldn’t wait to eat, I was so hungry and just looking at it made my stomach was starving. This made me slightly regret the fact that I wanted to stay home. It was very cold outside so I kind of wanted to stay inside the restaurant because they had a heater. Nando's had a heater to keep the Marvellous restaurant warm from the stormy wind outside.
The waitress was very nice, she offered some different types of sauces to eat with our delicious chips. We got both the plain chip and peri-peri chip which is a bit spicy. Which one do you prefer? I had to eat the plane chips because the peri peri chips were a bit too spicy for me.
We also decided to get one wrap which was for my sister Zaeeda, she loves the wrap in Nando's. They are one of our favourite restaurants to go to for a dinner outing. Nando's also have great table positioning, they don't mind if you join the tables together which is great because our family is a bit big so we need three tables for our beautiful family dinner.

Blue Whale Facts
Task Description: During this task we had to learn about a fascinating creature which is the blue whale, it is very interesting to me. I think it's a very rare animal to every country in the whole world. We then had to research that animal, and share 4 facts we found interesting. This task was easy, espacially because we do this kind of work often. I really want do this again and I want to do loads more like this in the future, maybe event two times the work.<3

We had to do some research about that under water creature and share things about the Blue Whale we found interesting thing about it. This task was fascinating, I would very much like to do lots of more thing like this, it is a good way to learn about animal. I thing kids would definitely and absolutely want do loads of things like this in the future and porbably everyday. <3 :)
Measurement: Perimeter
Task Description: For this task we had to look for the perimeter on the shapes and the show how we worked it out. It was decent and not to hard. I really liked this perimeter task and I hope we do a lot more work on perimeter again soon.

Delicious Dinner
Today we decided to eat out, so we got ready, then we got in the car. We went and got 2 large packs of chop suey and stir fry. It smelt delicious, my mouth was watering and it looked like it had lots of flavours in it.
Then we went home and the car smelt delightful because of the food. I couldn't wait to eat, I was so hungry and just looking at it made my stomach grumble. But it was very cold outside so I kind of wanted to stay at home.

When we arrived home we got ready for dinner, and started eating. I ate heaps because it was so nice. It was warm and full of delicious spices. I wish we could have dinners this nice every night.
The Great White Shark
(Today we had to write a introduction to a Great White Shark and it had to be exactly 150 words long, I had lots of fun)
A shadow creeping in the deepest darkest depths of the ocean. Found in almost every corner of the globe. Japan, America, Chile, Oceania, and the majority of the mediterranean it lives everywhere. With an enormous body this shark lives in very deep and cold waters that reach from 12-24 degrees celsius. The Great White Shark. A shark that’s known to be great predators! Eating almost anything in its path. This shark has about 300 teeth that can easily be replaced if one is lost. A single bite from this shark, it’s known to be fatal. These creatures are the top of the food chain, so if you ever go sailing, swimming or anywhere near the mediterranean know that these sharks are out there. Great white sharks are one of the many known to attack when unprovoked, so if you see one man you’re in trouble. GET OUT OF THERE QUICKLY!
Measurement: Perimeter
For this task we had to look for shapes and then divide a number to fit the measurement on the shape. It was decent and not to hard. I liked this task, and hope we do a bit more work on perimeter.

Task: During this task we had to learn perimeters of shapes. Too find the perimeter we had to measure all sides of the shapes we then had to add the measurements. I enjoyed this task it was easy and straight-forward. Looking forward to doing more!

The Giant Pacific Octopus
It moves through the depths of the ocean. The Octopus lives in a place where food is easily found. It slowly drifts through the sea bed, slowly approaching it’s prey. A cast of crabs. The predator waited for the perfect moment to strike. “WOOSH! It caught the crabs. The crabs get stuck in the octopus’s curves waiting to be devoured.
The Giant Octopus had eaten so much that it’s belly was stuffed. The Octopus needed to rest so it found a peaceful pace cave to rest in. It slowly drifted to sleep, as it did it could hear its 3 heart beating.
The Octopus woke up once again from it’s nap. It swam up to the surface of the ocean, hoping to catch an afternoon snack. A seabird flew over its head, it shot the bird with venom making it paralyzed and an easy prey. The Octopus then continues to feast on the bird.
Later that evening, it slowly drifted down to the ocean floor, not bothering to look for a place to finally say goodbye. It had been a good 5 years and it was too pass away. It’s suckers slowly start to die, and the colour of it’s skin fades it’s tentacles lying on the wet sand. The Giant Pacific Octopus is dead!
